Test to score

The connected teaching cycle

One class record that follows the work from plan to follow-up.

Most tools stop at the lesson plan or the score sheet. In Lektora, the lesson you taught is the same record your assessment points back to, and the results open the follow-up activity, so nothing has to be typed twice.

  1. 01

    Plan

Start from a learning objective, not a blank page.

  2. 02

    Teach

Run the activity with what your classroom actually has.

  3. 03

    Record

Attendance and evidence, saved per date and per class.

  4. 04

    Assess

Build the test, record responses, score once.

  5. 05

    Understand

    See difficulty, discrimination, and reliability.

  6. 06

    Respond

Turn a need into a concrete support activity.

  7. 07

    Improve

Check whether the follow-up actually worked.

Class records that stay connected

Rosters, attendance for a specific subject and date, lessons taught, and assessments administered all live inside the class they belong to. Correct a student's name once and their history stays intact.

  • Paste or import a class list with column mapping
  • Mark all present, then edit only the exceptions
  • Separate subject attendance from advisory attendance

Lessons written for a Filipino classroom

Every lesson states the objective, the prerequisite, the materials, what the teacher says and shows, what students write, and how to check understanding. Full answer keys, common misconceptions, and the response to each.

  • Grade, subject, language, duration, classroom setup
  • Guided practice and independent practice, spelled out
  • Support version and extension for the same objective

Assessment Check

Review the test before you administer it, then examine how each question actually worked. Reliability and validity are reported as evidence you collected, never as a score for the test.

  • Table of Specifications with reconciled totals
  • Item difficulty, discrimination, and distractor counts
  • KR-20 and Cronbach's alpha, computed exactly

Follow-up that starts from evidence

Turn a question pattern into a support plan with the activity, materials, review date, and the evidence that will show it worked. Draft the parent message from the same record.

  • Support plans grounded in recorded responses
  • Adviser invitations you review before sending
  • English or Filipino, edited by you before you share it

Prepared for classrooms with limited connectivity

Print the activity, present it on one screen, or share a device between three students. Lektora shows activities that fit the setup you actually teach in, and every lesson has a version that needs no student device at all.

Statistics you can defend in a department meeting

Coefficients come from tested calculations on the responses you recorded, with the sample size shown beside every result. When the data cannot support an estimate, Lektora says so instead of producing a number.

KR-20: requires response data
Alpha: requires response data
Sample size is shown for every estimate

Questions teachers ask

Straight answers before you sign up.

No. Every lesson includes a printed or projected version, and activities are written so students can work from paper, the board, or one shared screen. Digital versions are optional.

No. You can create a free teacher account and use the lesson library, plan instruction, and build assessments on your own. Real student records are still your school's data, and you should only enter them when school processing arrangements have been reviewed and approved for the class.

They stay. You keep access to review, edit, reuse, and export everything you already saved. Only new premium AI generation is limited by your remaining entitlement.

It cannot, and it will not claim to. Lektora reports evidence: item statistics, reliability estimates when the data supports them, and the content evidence you and your colleagues recorded. Validity is a judgement about how scores are interpreted and used.

Learning objectives can be entered by you or suggested by the initial lesson library. Verified curriculum-reference management is still in development. Where an alignment has not been verified, Lektora marks the objective as teacher-provided rather than claiming an official match.

No. AI assistance runs inside Lektora using your monthly Lektora credits. You never provide provider keys, and the product works fully without AI if you prefer to write everything yourself.
